FAS-2

Course 2 continues to study and review the principles from course 1 applying the principles learned to components with higher degrees of hardness. Monday begins with reviewing principles and learning about lubricants. Practicing basic principles begins on Tuesday and continues through Thursday with a combination of presentation and labs. Throughout the week you’ll learn about gears, anti-friction bearings, shafts, and turbochargers. Thursday afternoon students analyze case studies and present results while practicing customer presentations and communication skills. FAS 2 concludes with a comprehensive 50 question exam.
