Gregg Haas started working for Caterpillar dealers in 1976 after graduating from Pittsburg State University with an Automotive Technology and Secondary Education emphasis. Throughout Greggs distinguished 43-year career, he served as General Product Support Manager, Technical Training Manager/Instructor, Technical Communicator, Service Engineer and Oil Testing Lab Supervisor. Gregg became a Caterpillar Certified Instructor and attended numerous Caterpillar technical and management training classes. Gregg laid the groundwork for and successfully developed one of the North American Caterpillar Regional Dealer Learning Centers (RDLC). Gregg was also a charter member of the Caterpillar Dealer Service Training Advisory Board (DSTAB). Most recently up to his retirement Gregg was Service Operations Manager and Service Support Manager; responsible for Warranty, Technical Communicators, Standard Jobs, and development and Mentoring of a proficient Failure Analysis Team within the dealership.
Gregg has a passion for and has been deeply involved in Failure Analysis and parts reusability for the last 31 years. His personality, training and management background make him uniquely suited to relate to technicians, managers and engineers alike. Gregg?s experience in customer relationships allows him to share knowledge and experiences in an easy to understand and enjoyable manner.
Away from FAS Gregg enjoys fishing, camping, Jeeping and working in his shop at home.? Gregg and his wife Cindy have 2 sons and 5 grandsons
